Well, it sounds to me like you're straight out of luck

I haven't updated this in forever, because everything has been really hectic for me lately. But that's ok, I'm trying to make my life better and take care of myself, which I don't think I do often enough... I have a lot of photographs to upload.. they are mostly from my film class. I scanned them in.. so.. here they are..

These were all done with black and white film. I developed them and printed them in the darkroom. These ones were done near the end of the quarter.. and that's also when I started to get better at printing.. I'm not proud of most of my work from this quarter because I haven't been putting much thought or time in to it. I'm trying to fix this issue for next quarter.... but this is what I managed to do under a ton of stress and 3-4 hours of sleep a night....

This next set of photos was my final project. I based it off of the book of Genesis and the 7 days of creation...I would love to redo this with more time and do a better job on it.. but I'm happy with how it came out for the very short amount of time that I shot it in. (yes I do realize that I used Griff's back for 2 projects.. but they have completely different meanings to them.. and I like the digital one better.. because..well..I forgot my tripod and all the photos on my negatives were blurred except this one).. I did this in a really abstract way.. so it probably wont make sense to anyone.. but try to figure it out.

This next part was my photojournalism final.. which was shot in about an hour.. yes, once again I did not have much time to put the project together...this was not uncommon at all this quarter. I had some really awesome ideas.. and I didn't really get to execute them due to lack of time. So this is what happened... the project was based off of how technology is pretty much taking over our lives..

And the last part is my photo design project.. I already uploaded it in my last post, but this is the finished one. The last one wasn't completely done, and there was a photo missing. I made some minor adjustments to each photo, mostly edge burns and just burning parts in the photos that were way too light.. so here is the finished product.. I didn't tell anyone what it was about in my last post.. but it is also based off the bible and the consequences of sins. Satan's lie resulted in Eve biting in to the fruit. That resulted in sin entering the world... which then led to people being wrapped in sin and having sin in their lives.. & that led to Jesus going to the cross.. and Jesus going in the cross washed our sins away (blood on the hands).. I have some minor issues with this project.. but considering what I went through to get this done that night, I am extremely happy with it. And I can't thank Claire enough for letting me use her basement until like..almost 3am.. or something like that. It would have never got done if I did not have such an awesome best friend.. actually none of these would have got done if I didn't have such an awesome best friend.

I went through way too much crap this quarter.. and it was pretty awful. And I hope I never have to deal with it again. The good thing is, I managed to finish the quarter with one B and the rest of my classes.. all A's! I am very surprised that I did so well considering this was an awful 11 weeks. I am fixing it though. I'm taking my life back, because it is in fact.. my life.
